Visitor Guidelines

Dear visitors!

In the Philharmonic, the rules of good conduct are enforced more strictly than in the theater. True connoisseurs of music listen to their favorite sounds with bated breath. And the performers are disturbed by every extraneous noise. You may have noticed how the conductor is expected at a special time.

There is a special atmosphere in the Philharmonic Hall. Please pay attention to the Rules for visiting our concerts. By following them, you will show respect for other visitors, as well as for the artists and employees of the Philharmonic.

By purchasing tickets for concerts, visitors agree to these Rules and undertake to comply with them:

  • Spectators can enter the Philharmonic not earlier than 40 minutes before the start of the concert. Entrance to the hall is possible after the first call. After the start of the concert, it is possible to enter the hall between pieces during the applause. If you are late, you must take the seat offered by the administrator (ticket controller), and during the intermission, take the seat indicated on the ticket.
  • If tickets are lost or significantly damaged, listeners will not be admitted to the concert. Duplicate tickets will not be issued, and the cost of tickets will not be reimbursed. The administration of the Philharmonic is not responsible for counterfeit tickets and does not consider claims in this regard.
  • Please keep your tickets until the end of the event.
  • During the concert, please turn off all means of communication or put them in silent mode.
  • In order to ensure the protection of copyright and related rights, photo, video, television recording and any kind of audio recording of the concert or its fragments are prohibited without the separate permission of the administration. However, feel free to take pictures and make short videos to share your emotions with your friends on social networks! And remember the artists and other listeners: don't disturb them enjoying the music - don't turn on the flash! We will appreciate it if you like our Facebook and Instagram pages in your posts!
  • We ask you to observe the rules of public order, etiquette and fire safety rules.
  • While staying at the Philharmonic, visitors are obliged to treat the property with care. Material damages caused to the Philharmonic are recovered from the guilty persons in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Ukraine.
  • In case of loss of personal belongings, it is necessary to contact the administrator on duty.
  • The visitor is reimbursed for the value of the wardrobe token if he lost it.
  • The administration of the Philharmonic reserves the right to make changes to the composition of performers without prior notice. Changes in the composition of performers are not grounds for refunding tickets, with the exception of solo concerts of performers or creative evenings.
  • In case of cancellation of the concert, the Philharmonic will refund the money for the purchased tickets.
  • When attending concerts with children of preschool age, if the child cannot sit quietly, the child and the person accompanying him must leave the concert hall so as not to disturb other listeners.
  • The audience's time in the premises of the Philharmonic after the concert is limited to 30 minutes.
  • It is strictly forbidden to enter the premises of the Philharmonic Hall with weapons, odorous, flammable, explosive, poisonous, radioactive substances, piercing and cutting objects, pyrotechnics, in an intoxicated state, with animals, in sports or beach clothes.
  • It is not allowed to enter the hall in outerwear (except for situations when the air temperature in the hall does not meet the norms), with drinks and food, suitcases and shoulder bags.
  • According to the law of Ukraine "On the prohibition of smoking in public places" (dated December 16, 2012), smoking in the premises of the Philharmonic Hall is strictly prohibited.
  • In the event of a spectator's violation of the rules for attending concerts of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, the staff of the Philharmonic has the right to demand that the spectator immediately stop the specified violation and leave the premises. In the event of a spectator's refusal to stop violating the rules of attending concerts or to leave the premises, the employees have the right to remove the offenders from the premises on their own with the involvement of security and/or police representatives.
  • Visitors with disabilities planning to attend the event are asked to inform our administrators about their visit by phone at (044) 278-62-91 or by email at column-hall@ukr.net. Please indicate any additional services you may need, such as parking assistance, meeting, escort, etc.
