But as the volume swells, suddenly wailing air raid sirens tear through the music, accompanied by a dispassionate, robotic voice instructing audience and orchestra alike to descend to the bomb shelter. The conductor gradually guides his musicians towards a natural-sounding diminuendo, and only then does the audience begin to arise from their seats. 

And thus the Kyiv Philharmonic opens its new season.

The 12th Days of Ukrainian Music  in  have officially come to an end in the Polish capital. For almost three decades, this major cultural festival has been introducing European audiences to the richness and distinctive character of Ukrainian culture. The festival concluded with a performance by National Philharmonic Orchestra  of Ukraine.

Not so long ago, the official awards ceremony for the prestigious urban planning award LUN City Awards 2026 took place.
