Compositions by Karl Amadeus Hartmanm and Malckolm Arnold, were rarely performed, united in a one program with famous compositions of Hungarian Bayl Bartok.

Expressive music of Symphony by Hartman responds to his art aspirations: when he became a composer with the spirit of austrian/hungarian, backward romantic music. Hartman stood faithfully in that tradition. Eventually, faithfulness and consistency – inherent to the character of the composer, that was living in the time of The Third Reich. He didn’t look for compromises to the regime, disappeared from the concert life of Germany till the overthrow of the Nazi regime.

Malkolm Arnold – English composer-conservative. In his concert for two violin, he leaned firmly on a tradition of tonal music with classical understanding of the forms of concerts. Although he limits himself  in a musical route and demonstrates in own creation quite ingenuity.

The music for strings, percussion and celesta – one of the most important works of Bartok. Despite his own brevity, music can impress timbre finds, interesting genre decisions and structured perfections.
