Kyiv SAX Quartet
Since 2003, the Kyiv SAX Quartet has been part of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.

Bringing together some of Ukraine’s finest saxophonists, the ensemble is
known for its precision, expressive depth, and technical excellence, performing at a
European standard of ensemble playing.
The quartet is a prize-winner of numerous national and international competitions, including awards in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Rostock, and Paris. It has also been recognized as Best Ensemble at major festivals such as Kyiv Music Fest.
With more than 4,000 concerts to its credit, the ensemble has performed throughout Ukraine and across Europe, as well as in the United States, Canada, and China. The quartet regularly appears at major international events, including World Saxophone Congresses and European music festivals.
Many leading Ukrainian composers, including Hanna Havrylets, Vitalii Hubarenko, Zhanna and Lev Kolodub, Oleksandr Kozarenko, and others, have written works especially for the quartet. Its repertoire ranges from Ukrainian folk music and classical masterpieces to contemporary avant-garde works and jazz.
The ensemble collaborates with international chamber groups, choirs, and soloists, and has recorded extensively for Ukrainian Radio and Television. Its discography includes ten CDs and the 2021 project Ukrainian Saxophone, featuring early music, contemporary Ukrainian compositions, and Ukrainian jazz.
The Kyiv Saxophone Quartet performs on Selmer Paris instruments with Vandoren Paris mouthpieces and accessories.
