An evening of music exploring the human soul, from radiant vitality to destiny’s shadow.
The program begins with Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, a rare masterpiece of harmony between instruments, flowing from expansive Allegro to graceful Largo and a spirited finale.
The second half brings us into Antonín Dvořák’s vivid musical world with The Noon Witch, a haunting symphonic ballad where reality collides with the supernatural.
A highlight will be the Kyiv premiere of Eduard Rezach’s Hope, blending lyrical pain with radiant culmination and reflecting Ukrainian tradition within the European classical school.
The concert concludes with the Ukrainian premiere of Dvořák’s Fantasy for Orchestra from Rusalka (concept by Manfred Honeck and Tomáš Ille), transforming vocal lines into instrumental brilliance and centered on the famous “Song to the Moon.”
Before the concert, at 5:30 PM in the foyer, the Philharmonic will host the presentation of Winged Art, a military support project that will run until the end of June.
