The 163rd concert season of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine opens with a program where two powerful musical forces of the 20th century meet: the Ukrainian symphonism of Borys Liatoshynsky and the incomparable world of George Gershwin.
The evening will be conducted by Theodore Kuchar, whose collaboration with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine is always a landmark event. Joining them is the Taiwanese pianist Fanya Lin, celebrated for her refined sense of style, virtuosity, and the profound depth of her musical interpretations.
The opening of the 163rd season is more than just the start of a new concert year; it is a symbolic meeting of different cultures, musical languages, and creative worlds that come together to create timeless art.
